Almanaque Wak! preview 2 / Almanaque Wak! previa 2

The young misfit gray rabbit says (and expresses it vehemently): "Perico Te Pico goes to the beach and mess the things up in the purest outsider and underground style, that is, our friend Daniel Artiles (aka 'Fritz') takes delight in nowadays app-okalyptic paranoia so that you enjoy it in the Almanaque Wak!".

Sketches of pain / Bocetos de dolor

Great wide stretches of canvas
Signed by a godless name
Strange bright colors of madness

Almanaque Wak! preview 1 / Almanaque Wak! previa 1

The young misfit Gray Rabbit says (and expresses it vehemently):
"Ernesto Lovera is now trying his best and works hard to complete a dystopic comic for the Almanaque Wak! In addition, he sends us a sample of his work and promises to give it all he's got in
"The wild valkyries".

At the Barcelona Comic Fair / En el Salón del Cómic de Barcelona

Last weekend I attended the 35th Barcelona International Comic Fair on behalf of Fanzipote which, as you know, was nominated for second consequtive year for "best fanzine" award. In general, the International Comic Barcelona Fair is, in my opinion, the great comics convention of our country. Not only it is a powerful trade fair, but also it offers a wide range of activities and exhibitions for the fans (I especially enjoyed those dedicated to Will Eisner and Milton Caniff). It is necessary to mention that, finally, Paranoidland, the publication led by Martinez brothers (Bouman and Miguel Martinez), got the precious award which we aspired. The roundtable where the nominees were presented was a coup of self-esteem, I felt myself the protagonist of the Fair for a moment (thanks, Juan) and, although there was not much audience attending, I had the opportunity to show the large virtues that make Fanzipote deserving of this award. Despite I think the rest of the nominees have a high level, I would highlight that the monthly proposal of fanzipote is unbeatable in the current fanzine publishing panorama.
