We want Wak! to increase progressively its level of publishing activity. So, we aren't at all quiet. During this month, we are contacting with several authors to achieve their collaboration in a thematic anthology that is going to be launched next June. It's what we called "Almanaque Wak!". The topic of this first number will be around the way our behaviour is influenced by social webs and new technologies.
Queremos que Wak! incremente progresivamente su nivel de actividad editora. Por eso, no estamos en absoluto tranquilos. Durante este mes, estamos contactando con diversos autores para conseguir su colaboración en una antología temática que será lanzada el próximo mes de junio. Es lo que llamamos "Almanaque Wak!". El tema de este primer número girará en torno a la forma en que nuestro comportamiento está influenciado por las redes sociales y las nuevas tecnologías.
I am hardly realizing it, but today is the 10th anniversary of this blog. And right now it seems that we are finding those projects that excite and move us forward. Besides a new issue of Killer Toons and the nomination (for the second consecutive year) of Fanzipote as best fanzine at the Salón del Cómic de Barcelona, we are starting Wak!, that publishing line that it's supposed to give readers a handful of interesting works and, also, now it has its own website.
Sin apenas darme cuenta, este blog cumple hoy 10 años. Y justo en este momento parece que encontramos esos proyectos que nos hacen ilusionarnos y seguir adelante. A la salida de una nueva entrega de Killer Toons y la nominación (por segundo año consecutivo) de Fanzipote a mejor fanzine en los premios del Salón del Cómic de Barcelona se une el arranque de Wak!, ese sello que espero dé a los lectores un puñado de obras interesantes y que además ya cuenta con página web propia.
